How much more of my time is all this green planning going to take? These are all fair and legitimate questions, and I've got all the answers below. My name is Danielle and it is my job to plan green parties. Not just proms, but also weddings, corporate events and even non-profit fundraisers. It's unbelievable, I know, that I actually get paid to do a job this fun but I guess I just drew a lucky straw.

At my company, dvGreen, our goal is to work with clients to create events that they can be proud of forever. And that's exactly what I intend to do with all of you. By giving you some indispensible tips and introducing you to a few of my favorite industry experts, like caterers, florists and online invitation companies, I am going to help you to seamlessly infuse sustainability into all of the aspects of your prom, without sacrificing your style.

And by the way, I live and work in New York City, so you might notice an overwhelming number of NY-based resources. Do not despair! There are incredible sustainable vendors throughout the country, with new ones joining the marketplace practically everyday.
